Paris Hilton Gives Major Update About Dog She Was Fostering Amid LA Wildfires
Paris Hilton shared an update with fans about the precious pup named Zuzu she had been fostering following the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
On January 27, Hilton shared an Instagram upload that showed her reuniting Zuzu with her family after their Altadena home was destroyed because of the Eaton fires. Hilton, who bonded with the pup, seemed to be emotional about departing from her. However, she hugged Zuzu’s owner and offered her condolences for what she had been through. In addition, she gave multiple gifts to Zuzu’s owner and her son, who was holding his dog throughout the interaction.
In the video, Hilton, who lost her Malibu home due to the Palisades Fire, shared that she intends on fostering more dogs from the Pasadena Humane Society.
“Letting go is never easy, but moments like this remind me why fostering is so important 🥹🐶🐾❤️ Zuzu came into my life during one of the most heartbreaking times, and she was truly a beacon of hope. Saying goodbye to her was so hard, but seeing her family’s faces when they arrived to bring her home made it all worth it. 🥰🏡✨,” read the caption of the post. “The love between Zuzu and her family is so special, and I’m so happy they’re reunited after everything they’ve been through. 💕.”
She also noted that she met Zuzu while volunteering at the Pasadena Humane Society amid the Eaton Fire. The dog’s family surrendered her to the rescue after their home was destroyed.
”Thank you, @PasadenaHumane, for making moments like this possible. 🐶 #SlivingForACause ✨,” continued Hilton.
