Paris Hilton Plans on Adopting Dog Affected by LA Wildfires
Paris Hilton is welcoming a new furry friend to her family.
While speaking to TMZ on January 21, Hilton noted that she has been fostering a pup named Zuzu, who was surrendered to the Pasadena Humane Society after his family’s home was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. She said that she has plans to adopt the dog.
“His family had to surrender him because they lost their Altadena home in the devastating Eaton Fire,” said Hilton to TMZ. “I was fostering him this past week and we've all fallen in love with him so we're going to adopt him.”
Hilton met Zuzu when she began volunteering at the Pasadena Humane Society after losing her Malibu home due to the Palisades Fires in early January 2025. In a January 14 X post, Hilton said she “met so many animals displaced by the LA fires” at the rescue.

“As an animal lover, I am heartbroken by those who have lost their furry friends or have had to give them up due to being displaced. I want to do my part and take care of Zuzu and I encourage others who are able to to reach out to their local shelter to see how they can support them!” wrote Hilton in the post’s caption.
She also said that her “nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact has contributed to support the shelter’s efforts.” In addition, Hilton encouraged her fans to donate to the Pasadena Humane Society.
“We’re still raising funds to help displaced families and pets Every donation makes a difference in providing emergency relief, housing, and supplies. You can contribute directly to Pasadena Humane Society or via this link: https://bit.ly/4gPIqKs,” wrote Hilton.
