Kaley Cuoco, 1 of the Biggest Dog Lovers in Hollywood, Is Engaged
Kaley Cuoco, who we’ve rightfully deemed Hollywood’s Biggest Dog Lover, is engaged.
People magazine reported that Cuoco took to her Instagram Stories on August 14 to share that she and Tom Pelphrey, the father of her 1-year-old daughter, Matilda, are engaged. She uploaded a picture that gave fans a glimpse of her engagement ring.
"Amazing weekend," wrote Cuoco in the post’s caption.
Here at Woof Republic, we have an appreciation for Cuoco as she has consistently been a dog rescue advocate.
The actress currently has six rescue dogs and continually uses her wealth and her platform to spotlight furry friends in need. She also shares information about adoptable dogs, many of which are Pit Bulls or have medical issues, meaning the chance of them finding their forever homes is relatively slim.
In addition, she founded the pet product brand, Oh Norman, named after her beloved late dog. During a January 2024 interview on the “Jennifer Hudson Show,” Cuoco shared that “every purchase [from the brand] goes to animal rescue.”
In a June 26 Instagram post, the “Big Bang Theory” actress announced that she adopted another rescue puppy. The upload consisted of a brief video that showed Cuoco petting the beautiful little lady named Dahlia, nicknamed Dolly.
In the video, Cuoco shared that she first laid her eyes on Dahlia when swiping through the Instagram account for the non-profit organization, I Stand With My Pack. She stated that she “immediately got chills” when she saw the puppy and decided she needed to adopt her.
In addition, the actress stated that she believed her new pet had all the positive traits of her past dogs.
“The heavens sent her down to us,” said Cuoco.
In the caption, Cuoco referenced that the puppy was not found in the best circumstances.
“Better believe we’ll make up for her rough start with an amazing life🫶🐶. She’s been the best addition to ours already,” read a portion of the post.
Cuoco also encouraged her fans to adopt not shop if they are interested in getting a new dog.
“Consider rescuing your next family member. You won’t regret it! 🐾,” wrote the actress.
