Can I Give My Dog Brussels Sprouts?

While Brussels sprouts are somewhat of a polarizing vegetable among humans, dogs seem like they can’t get enough! However, just because your furry friend is a fan of a certain food, doesn’t mean you should give it to them.

Thankfully, your dog can safely consume plain, steamed Brussels sprouts, as reported by the American Kennel Club. That being said, heed our warning— brussels sprouts may cause your dog to pass gas more than usual. If you are fine with your dog tooting, please feel free to give them a few bites of the vegetable!

Just a quick disclaimer: You should always speak to your dog's vet before adding anything to their diet, like Brussels sprouts. After all, you never know if your dog may have an adverse reaction to specific types of fruits or vegetables.
