Are Pomegranates Safe for Dogs?
Pomegranates are an essential wintertime fruit. As the months get colder, there’s a good likelihood that you’ll be snacking on the delicious fruit.

However, you’ll need to figure out a way to break the news that pomegranates are not safe for canine consumption to your furry friend.
According to PetMD, you should never give your dog a fresh pomegranate, as the entirety of the fruit — its seeds, rind, and peel — can pose serious risks. All parts of the fruit can lead to choking and intestinal obstructions, which you, obviously, want to avoid at all costs!
