4 Fun and Festive Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day With Your Pup

My dog and I are obsessed with St. Patrick’s Day! However, we celebrate a little differently than others might. For instance, we can’t go to a bar and drink pints of Guinness. Not only is she underage, but she’s also super rowdy and will get into a bar fight.

Anyway, we still always have a great time together on St. Patrick’s Day. And if you want to do the same with your furry friend by your side, here are a few of our recommendations for fun dog-friendly St. Patrick's Day activities.

Go on a Hike and Look for Four-Leaf Clovers

Now, we’re aware, hiking really has nothing to do with St. Patrick’s Day. However, when you're exploring nature, there’s a good chance you'll be surrounded by greenery. For added fun, you and your pooch can look for four-leaf clovers together!

Have a St. Patrick's Day Themed Movie Marathon

My dog’s  St. Patrick’s Day movie recommendation is The Luck of the Irish, because she has excellent taste.

Host a Canine-Friendly St. Patrick’s Day Party

If you’re in the mood to host, invite your friends and their canine companions over for a festive St. Patrick’s Day party! Decorate your house with shamrock garlands, set out a spread full of green treats (for both human and canine consumption), and have everyone dress up their pups in their best St. Patty’s attire!

Make Your Dog Some St. Patrick’s Day Inspired Treats

There’s no better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than eating delicious food inspired by the holiday. Now you can’t go wrong with a traditional meal of corned beef and cabbage. However, that’s way too salty for your pup. But don’t worry! There’s plenty of other St. Patrick’s Day recipes your furry friend can enjoy!
