What ‘The Boys’ Fans Need to Know About the Beloved Dog Who Played Terror
After five seasons, the (anti) superhero series, The Boys, is coming to an end. I firmly believe that the best character on the show is Butcher’s (Karl Urban) adorable dog, Terror. I might even argue that Terror is the only truly likable character in The Boys.
Unfortunately, the very good boy, Bentley Alexander, who played Terror, passed away at the age of 11 in late 2025. The official Boys Instagram page posted a sweet tribute to the adorable pup shortly after his passing. The November 2025 upload featured several pictures of Bentley on The Boys set.
"This one fuckin' hurts. Today we say goodbye to [Bentley Alexander], who warmed our hearts every time he came on screen as Terror. Rest in peace, mate," read the caption of the post.

Bentley’s owners also shared the sad news with fans in a separate post on the dog’s Instagram account.
“The post that you are never prepared for. Today I must go. My time has come. Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to see me and make the day special,” captioned Bentley’s owner.
Several Boys stars flocked to both of the posts’ comments section to share they were upset about the sweet pup’s passing. For instance, Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie, wrote, “Awwwww BUDDY!”
“Loved that pup! 🐶 😢,” commented Laz Alonso, who plays Mother Milk.
“What a good boy ❤️,” added Nathan Mitchell, who plays Black Noir.
