Millie Bobby Brown Adopts Dog From Lisa Vanderpump's Rescue

As a devoted “Stranger Things” viewer, I am obviously a fan of Millie Bobby Brown. She is an extremely talented actress and I am thoroughly entertained by her friendship with her co-star, Noah Schnapp, who famously portrays Will Byers. Another reason to adore the Purdue University student is that she happens to be devoted to rescue dogs.

On March 9, the actress adopted a new furry friend named Pepperoni from the 501(c)(3) non-profit dog rescue organization, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, owned by former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Lisa Vanderpump. The organization’s official Instagram account shared two pictures of Brown and her pup.

“We are so thrilled that our little Pepperoni was just adopted by @milliebobbybrown , a fellow dog lover who does some amazing rescue work of her own!!! 💕 Pepperoni is on her way to living an amazing life and getting all the love and care she’s always deserved!” read a portion of the caption.

Pepperoni will have plenty of pups to play with at Brown’s home. The 19-year-old is already a dog mom to six furry friends named Dolly, Ronnie, Reggie, Leo, Nora, and Winnie.

The adorable rescue pup may even get the chance to go on set with her new owner. Brown usually takes her beloved miniature poodle, Winnie, with her when she is filming a new project due to her small size.

During a 2020 interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Brown shared she adopted Winnie at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. She noted she took her furry friend to the set of “Stranger Things” season 4, where her co-stars fell in love with the poodle.

“I brought her to be something from home because I’m always traveling so it’s nice to have something that’s like kind of there for me when I’m traveling. She came to the ‘Stranger Things’ read through and she was just like – she was spoiled. So I feel like she’s got plenty of godmothers and godfathers around her,” said the Emmy Award nominee.

In a July 2022 interview on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” Matthew Modine, who plays the nefarious Papa, shared he had a unique experience because of Winnie. He explained he went to Walmart with a few of his “Stranger Things” castmates, including Brown, during the production of season 4. The 63-year-old shared that the “Enola Holmes” actress purchased CBD treats for Winnie, which he accidentally ate.

“I started eating snacks and I realized unfortunately after I consumed them that Millie has a dog that’s kind of high-strung and they make dog biscuits with CBD in them and so I ate a couple of dog biscuits,” said Modine.

He joked that the treats caused him to start barking.

Brown has also used her platform to spotlight furry friends in need. As fans of the actress are aware, the “Godzilla vs. Kong” star will often share pictures of adoptable dogs on her Instagram account.
