From Zendaya to Tom Holland: The 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' Cast's Cute Dogs

As Spider-Man fans, you best believe my furry friend and I will be seated in the theater for the premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31. To keep ourselves occupied until then, we thought we’d showcase some of the biggest dog lovers on the cast of the newest Spider-Man film.

Without further ado, here is the cast of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and their canine companions.

Zendaya

If you’re a fan of actress Zendaya, who plays Michelle Jones “MJ” Watson, you know that she’s absolutely obsessed with her adorable 10-year-old miniature schnauzer, Noon. In a February 2026 interview with Interview Magazine, Zendaya said that she’s a complete Hollywood stereotype when it comes to taking care of her furry friend, whom she shares with her Spider-Man co-star and husband Tom Holland, who, of course, plays Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man.

“I’d say quintessential Hollywood s–t is probably how I am with my dog. They get their fancy meals with vitamin supplements. It sounds very ridiculous when I talk about it, but I love my child. That’s probably the most ridiculous Hollywood thing about me, how my dog be living,” said Zendaya during the Interview magazine interview.

Zendaya also shared that her dog has given her a sense of stability as she has been navigating celebrity during her December 2024 Variety Actors on Actors interview with Nicole Kidman. Zendaya explained that her furry friend is her “emotional support.”

Jacob Batalon

Jacob Batalon, who famously portrays Peter’s bestie, Ned, has a super cute doodle with his fiancée, Veronica Leahov.

Tom Holland

As we just mentioned, Holland is a devoted dog dad to his and Zendaya’s furry friend. In fact, during a 2024 interview with Vanity Fair, Zendaya revealed that her dog, whom she described as her “forever puppy,” prefers the company of her mother, Holland, and her personal assistant. She jokingly explained that she thinks Noon is a little annoyed by how obsessed she is with him.

“He loves all three of them, more than he loves me. It’s fine … I think he knows that I love him too much. So he’s like you’re doing too much. You need to calm down. It’s being a mother. Thankless. Thankless job. Really,” quipped Zendaya.

Holland also had a beloved Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Tessa. Unfortunately, the sweet girl passed away in 2024.
