Need Another Reason to Be Obsessed With 'Obsession' Star Inde Navarrette? It Involves Dogs

While my dog isn’t a huge horror fan, she finally agreed to watch the acclaimed 2025 film Obsession, directed and written by Curry Barker. We thought all the performances were excellent, especially Inde Navarrette’s haunting portrayal of Nikki.

Not only is Inde an incredible actress, but she also seems to have an appreciation for canine companions. In a July 2026 interview with Nylon, Inde revealed that after the production of Obsession wrapped, she began walking dogs as a job due to having some difficulty landing more acting gigs. 

“Between Obsession and the film after that, I didn’t work. I was walking dogs. I was streaming. I was doing a lot of these things to make money. I didn’t have a lot of confidence because you just keep hearing no, and that can be debilitating,” said Inde during the Nylon interview. 

She clarified that she’s now focused on acting after the success of Obsession. 

“I now have a lot more confidence in the decisions that I’m making, and that’s made the audition process a lot more fun,” said the 25-year-old actress.
