Mother’s Day and it’s companion holiday, Dog Mom Day, are coming up this weekend. In order to celebrate, we thought we would spotlight some incredible dog moms who own pit bulls. While we appreciate all loving dog owners, we are especially grateful to those who are devoted to the misunderstood breed. In particular, we want to thank some pawsome women who have helped prove that pitties are absolute delights on their massive platforms. Here are 4 amazing celebrity pit bull moms.
Ariana Madix
In April, Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and her partner Tom Sandoval adopted a one-year-old pit bull mix from the non-profit, I Stand with My Pack. In a recent Instagram post, the television personality revealed that the pup, who has not yet been named, initially “was terrified of Tom because of her past.” However, the pooch has since warmed up to him and was photographed cuddling with him.
Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande has quite a family of furry friends, with 12 rescue dogs in total. At the moment, the “Thank U Next'' singer has two pit bulls, Myron and Cinnamon. Myron actually belonged to Ariana’s ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller before his passing in 2018. After his tragic death, the former Nickelodeon star decided to adopt the dog.
Kaley Cuoco
As fans are well aware, Kaley Cuoco is quite possibly the most dog-obsessed actress in all of Hollywood. She currently has six dogs, with three of them being either a full or part pit bull.Her eldest pit is named Norman, who she has lovingly described as her “main man.” She was given her youngest pit bull, Blueberry, on Valentine’s Day in 2019 from her husband, Karl Cook. Unfortunately, soon after his adoption, the couple and pup faced an upsetting experience that was caused by negative stereotypes surrounding the breed. Kaley was set to have a photoshoot in a Los Angeles building when she was stopped by a security guard, who almost did not allow Blueberry inside the premises.
The actress voiced her frustration regarding the incident and the overall treatment of pit bulls on her Instagram stories, stating, "This is what we deal with every day ... I don't understand it, I really don't ... This is just another effing annoying thing that this breed comes against every single day."
Kaley's other pit bull mix is a sweet gal, called Shirley.
Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish recently made the decision to adopt an adorable pitbull puppy from Angel City Pit Bulls amid the COVID-19 outbreak. She initially just wanted to foster two pits, but ultimately decided to keep one of them. The “Bad Guy” singer has not yet revealed her precious pup’s name.
We want all dog moms to enjoy a day!! Love has 4 and 2 paws and we want to celebrate all moms who take care of us and somehow balance vet appointments with always ensuring that we look fly!! Thank you Moms!! Happy Mother’s Day!
