Zendaya Thinks Her Dog Loves Her Boyfriend Tom Holland More Than Her
If you are a fan of Zendaya, you are well aware the actress is obsessed with her Miniature Schnauzer, Noon.
Zendaya’s 9-year-old furry friend joined her for an interview with Vanity Fair, released on November 13. During the interview, Zendaya said her dog, who she described as her “forever puppy,” “makes [her] really happy.”
“He brings a lot of joy to all the sets we’ve been on. It’s hard not to be obsessed with this face,” said Zendaya.
Zendaya then joked that Noon is a little annoyed by how obsessed she is with him. According to Zendaya, that’s why Noon prefers the company of her mother, Claire Stoermer, her boyfriend Tom Holland, and her personal assistant, Darnell Appling.
“He loves all three of them, more than he loves me. It’s fine … I think he knows that I love him too much. So he’s like you’re doing too much. You need to calm down. It’s being a mother. Thankless. Thankless job. Really,” quipped Zendaya
While speaking to Vanity Fair with Noon on her lap, Zendaya shared her dog’s other quirks. According to Zendaya, he is quite spoiled and has a sensitive stomach. In addition, the small pup, “thinks he’s a guard dog,” which has caused some issues.
“He tried to fight a German Shepherd once. A few times. And I said, ‘Son, let’s be realistic here, girl,’” said Zendaya during the November 2024 interview.
In a joint December 2021 interview with IMDb, Zendaya and Holland mentioned Noon. During a discussion regarding “Harry Potter,” Holland and Zendaya agreed that Noon would be sorted into the Slytherin house. Holland also said the dog’s personality is similar to Voldemort.
“Slytherin all day. Noon is Voldemort,” said Holland.
Holland clarified that he “love[s] that little dog,” but believes he is like “Tom Riddle before he knew what Horcruxes were.” Zendaya defended Noon and shared that she thought her pup shared more traits with Severus Snape.
“He’s more of a Snape… He’ll be cold to you but he’ll look out for you… He’ll be cold to you and then what? Cuddle,” explained “The Challengers” actress.
