VPR Star Lala Kent Goes on 'Blind Date' With Rescue Pit Bull
“Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent may be best known for being an outspoken reality television star. Some fans, however, may not be aware that she is also a devoted animal rights activist.
The soon-to-be mother of two proudly owns three rescue dogs. She also recently partnered with The Dodo to help get a very good boy named Goofy a forever home.
In an April 2024 video, uploaded on the official Dodo YouTube channel, Kent and Goofy, who was found abandoned at a park, grabbed some lunch and went on a short hike at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. During her blind date with the 1-year-old dog, the Bravo personality explained why she is passionate about helping rescue pups.
“I grew up with a mom who worked for the Humane Society of Utah. We’ve always been into animals finding forever homes,” said the 33-year-old.
On the date, Kent shared that she believed Goofy would be a wonderful addition to any family.
“I had the best dream date with Goofy! The best home for him is going to be one that’s active, that’s very, very loving, he likes to get on the couch, he likes to watch some TV with the fam,” shared the Bravo personality. “He’s great with dogs. He’s good with kids. He likes to chase cats. He wouldn’t hurt them. He’s a winner. He’s the whole package.”
