How Many Dogs Do Jason & Kylie Kelce Own?

Fans of former NFL player Jason Kelce and his wife, podcaster Kylie Kelce, are well aware that the couple is obsessed with canine companions. But how many pups do they currently own? 

Jason and Kylie announced in late March 2026 that they adopted a sweet pup named Freddie from the Pennsylvania SPCA. The cute German Shepherd puppy has already made an appearance on Kylie’s hit podcast, Not Gonna Lie.

The couple also has an Irish Wolfhound named Nessie. Jason introduced his fans to the dog during a September 2024 episode of his and his brother Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights. 

When Travis said the pup “seems like an absolute sweetheart,” Jason playfully replied, “She’s a terror.” According to Jason, Nessie taught herself to turn doorknobs and take dishes off the counter.

Unfortunately, the couple said goodbye to their other beloved Irish Wolfhound named Baloo, who passed away at the age of 7, in March 2025. In a March 2025 Instagram upload, Kylie described the dog as “the goofiest, sweetest, most lovable, and tolerant dog [she has] ever met.” According to Kylie, when she told her three oldest daughters, Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 5, and Bennett, 4, the dog died, her middle child shared that she believed Baloo would be reunited with the family’s late dog, Winnie, another Irish Wolfhound, who passed away in March 2024. 

“When I told the girls that Baloo was going to leave us, Ellie asked where he was going. I told her that he was going to heaven and without skipping a beat she replied, ‘Oh! He’ll get to be with Winnie again! They’ll be so happy to see each other!’” wrote Kylie in the post caption. 

She also said, “The heartbreak is immense, but as Ellie so perfectly pointed out, the Winnie-Bubba reunion had to be pure magic.”
