Kaley Cuoco Shares Sad News About Her Beloved Rescue Dog
One of the biggest dog lovers and animal advocates in Hollywood, Kaley Cuoco, revealed that her beloved dog Ruby has passed away.
In an April 19 Instagram upload, Cuoco shared the sad news with fans. The post included several pictures of the adorable dog throughout her time with Cuoco.
In the caption, she shared that she and Ruby “have been through SO much together.”
“[S]he has remained the exact same: the sweetest little angel snowball. Everyone loved her !!” continued Cuoco, who owns a North Los Angeles ranch, which is now a home to several rescue animals, including plenty of dogs.

Cuoco then referenced that she was first introduced to the rescue dog when she was filming an E! News segment for the Los Angeles City East Valley Animal Shelter in 2014.
“I was doing a TV segment at the east valley shelter a very long time ago. She was the dog they had me hold. I went home that night and couldn’t get her out of my mind, so I went back the next day and adopted her best decision I ever made,” wrote Cuoco, who shares a 3-year-old daughter named Matilda with her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey.
The Big Bang Theory star also reminded dog owners that the love we receive from our furry friends is worth the eventual pain when they pass.
“The more pets we have, the more we go through this familiar pain, but it’s an honor to give these dogs the best life possible because that’s all that matters 💜💖,” concluded the actress.
We’re so sorry for your loss, Kaley! Rest in peace, Ruby, you very good girl.
