Somebody save me! The hit WB series Smallville is officially 25 years old, which means I’m super old.

In celebration of the show’s big anniversary, we thought we’d spotlight some of the biggest dog lovers on the cast. Without further ado, here are the stars of Smallville and their adorable pups!

Tom Welling, who starred as Clark Kent throughout the show’s 10 seasons, has a Golden Retriever named Rose. Fans of the WB series may notice that Welling’s furry friend bears a striking resemblance to Clark’s pup, Shelby.

Unlike his villainous counterpart, Lex Luthor, Michael Rosenbaum is a total softie, especially when it comes to his furry friends. In a July 2026 episode of his podcast, Inside of You, Rosenbaum shared that he was emotional about his 8-year-old dog, Blanche, undergoing knee surgery.

“Blanche is my everything. My dogs are everything,” said Rosenbaum, who shared that Blanche’s surgery went smoothly.
