The Biggest Dog-Lover In Hollywood Announces She's Pregnant

Actress and animal advocate Kaley Cuoco is expanding her family, which includes plenty of furry friends!

In a June 10 Instagram upload, Cuoco announced that she and her fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, are expecting their second child. The post featured several pictures of the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Matilda. In the caption of the post, the Big Bang Theory star, who we consider the biggest dog-lover in Hollywood, shared that she’s pregnant with another girl.

“completing our little family , what a dream come true ! 💖 This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways , but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!! @tommypelphrey girl dad for life 🎀 and yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger,” read the caption of the post.

We’re sure that Cuoco’s new addition will share her love of animals. In a January 2026 interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cuoco revealed that Matilda adores all the furry friends on her own North Los Angeles ranch, which is home to several rescue animals, including plenty of dogs.

“She loves it like I do and she loves the dogs like I do. She's such an animal girl,” said Cuoco during the interview.

Cuoco then quipped that there would have been some issues if her daughter didn’t share her love of animals.

“Thank god. I would have to give her back if she was. What was I going to do? Like what would I have done?” joked the 40-year-old actress in the Entertainment Tonight interview. “I know. But no, she's spectacular with the animals in that way and it's special to see. All kids should be raised with dogs.”

In addition to adopting rescues, the actress continually uses her wealth and her platform to spotlight dogs in need. For instance, she continually shares information about adoptable dogs, many of which are Pit Bulls or have medical issues, meaning the chance of them finding their forever homes is relatively slim.

Cuoco also founded the pet product brand Oh Norman, named after her beloved late dog. During a January 2024 interview on the Jennifer Hudson Show, Cuoco shared that “every purchase [from the brand] goes to animal rescue.”
