Sarah Ferguson Makes a Rare Comment About Queen Elizabeth's Surviving Corgis
Sarah Ferguson made a rare comment about the late Queen Elizabeth’s beloved corgis, Muick and Sandy.
After Queen Elizabeth’s 2022 death, Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, took in the adorable dogs. People magazine reported that the Duchess of York joked that her former mother-in-law is speaking to her through the corgis during the Creative Women Platform Forum in May 2025.

"I have her dogs. I have her corgis, so every morning they come in and go, 'Woof, woof' and all that and I'm sure it's her talking to me,” said Ferguson.
She then shared that she feels honored to have been chosen to take care of the royal dogs.
“The real thing is that I had the greatest honor to be her daughter-in-law. You know, that's really huge. When I was driving here, I saw the Elizabeth [train] line… I want everyone to remember what an amazing lady she was,” said the 65-year-old.
