Are Parachute Dog Beds Worth The Price?
The luxury home good brand, Parachute, previously only catered to customers of the human variety. In 2018, however, the company realized that pooches deserve to be pampered as much as people. Parachute’s two-toned, muted-colored beds are simplistic, yet stylish, meaning they will go with the design of any home. These comfy rectangular beds, suitable for dogs of any size, cost between $129 to $149.
As Parachute’s dog bedding is on the expensive side, some pup parents may wonder if it is worth the price.
Parachute’s dog bedding currently has a 4.52-star rating on its website. The most recent reviewer gave the bed 5-stars.
“Great dog bed. Very comfortable and looks great in our place!” read the review.
Another 5-star reviewer shared that “this bed is simply yet smartly styled and very comfortable for my Golden Retriever.”
“She loves it so much that I purchased a second bed - one for our primary bedroom and the other for our family room,” wrote the pup parent.
A different 5-star reviewer noted that the bed was ideal for their senior dog.
“I have an 80lb Labrador Retriever, she is 11 years old and we purchased this to replace a generic ortho type dog bed. Ever since we received this bed and replaced her old bed, she has been in love with it. She prefers to sleep in it versus everything else available (couch, lovesac, futon, our bed). Also, as everything from parachute is made with high quality materials, this is no exception. I would highly recommend to anyone on the fence about purchasing, it will not disappoint,” asserted the verified buyer.
It is worth noting that the beds do have a handful of negative reviews. For instance, one 1-star review shared that there were issues with the bed’s zipper.
“Unfortunately, the zipper broke first night… our dog has been using it with the zipper open but obviously not ideal. She seems to like it tho. But weak zipper,” shared the pup parent.
Another dog owner, who gave the product a 1-star review, noted that they were disappointed with the bedding’s lining, writing, “the lining seems cheap and isn't a very solid surface for my dog to climb on top of. He kept slipping when trying to lay down.”
