Are Jax And Bones' Beds Worth The Price?

If you are a pup parent, who has a keen eye for style you may be aware of the company Jax and Bones. The founder of the company, Tina Nguyen, started the brand with the belief that dog owners should have the option of purchasing items for their pooch that are equal parts functional and fashionable.

“I continue to focus on the unmet need: design-driven pet beds and accessories that appeal to all types of pet owners to help them express their personal style. I design not only to make things look good, but I thoughtfully choose fabrics and materials that address the needs of every dog and homeowner faces,” explained Nguyen in a 2019 interview with Pet Product News

The company has eight different types of bedding, meaning that you can likely find a style that will suit your dog’s specific needs. The brand’s tufted pillows, which come in a variety of patterns, are a rather chic option that ranges from $149 to $169.

The Slumberjack, priced at $46, has been crafted for smaller dogs. The bedding is lined with fleece, which means it is ideal for those who live in a cooler climate.

Like the tufted pillows, the company’s lounge pillows are available in several colors and patterns. This type of bedding costs $98 to $119 depending on the design.

The brand’s pillow beds, which range from $169 to $199 are perfect for pups who love being comfy, as they “are overstuffed and the inserts are channeled to prevent flattening or condensing.”

The company promises that its napper beds, ranging from $95 to $109, is “excellent for senior dogs needing extra joint support or any dog requiring superior comfort.” Those with senior pups may also want to consider getting a cuddler bed, as the company’s website claims that it “is the perfect hybrid for older dogs as it has a low profile cutout in front to allow for easy access to the bed and bolsters offer the most comfortable place to lay their head.”

The brand's sleeper bed, which costs $98 to $119, is suitable “for large breeds and those looking for additional joint support.” Finally, the company’s donut bed, ranging from $92.40 to $99, would look incredible in any space. Here at Woof Republic, we are particularly partial to the velvet options!

While all of the beds look incredible, are they worth the price?

Here are what some customers have been saying about the product:

The company’s website only has a handful of reviews.

On September 7, 2021, one pup parent left a five-star review for the brand cuddler bed.

“Miss Onyx, my Senior pug at 15 1/2 years, needed a memory foam bed to support her joints. She loves her new bed. When it arrived, she climbed into it and stayed there for most of the day. It is a fabulous bed!” read the review.

There are also 16 reviewers for the Jax & Bones Sleeper Dog Bed on Amazon. The ratings for the bed ranged from 4 stars to 5 stars.

“Top quality bed for large very pleased puppy who snuggled contentedly as soon as it was unwrapped. Great value for long-lasting comfy dog bed. Both fabric and fill are substantial and well worth the price. The fabric color is exactly as represented. Would unreservedly recommend this product. Thanks for prompt shipment,” read one reviewer.

Another customer asserted that the bed was “exceptional.”

“I have a German Shepherd and a Bearnaise Mountain Dog...both big dogs. I have had a lot of dog beds, but this one is far superior. My dogs LOVE these beds and for the first time ever...will not sleep anywhere except these beds. Exceptional product and well worth the price!” wrote that reviewer.
