Here's How Paris Hilton Is Helping Dogs Affected by the Los Angeles Fires

If you are a millennial like me, you are well aware of how much Paris Hilton loves animals, specifically dogs. There was nothing more iconic in the early 2000s than seeing Hilton carrying around her adorable chihuahuas in her purse.

For this reason, I’m not surprised that Hilton has been using her platform as a celebrity to help dogs and cats that have been affected by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

After losing her Malibu home due to the Palisades Fires, Hilton volunteered at Pasadena Humane Society, a rescue in Los Angeles that has done so much to help families with pets who have been impacted by the ongoing fires. In a January 14 X post, Hilton said she “met so many animals displaced by the LA fires.” She then shared that she decided to foster a 3-year-old pup named Zuzu, whose family lost their home in the fires.

“As an animal lover, I am heartbroken by those who have lost their furry friends or have had to give them up due to being displaced. I want to do my part and take care of Zuzu and I encourage others who are able to to reach out to their local shelter to see how they can support them!” wrote Hilton in the post’s caption.

She also said that her “nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact has contributed to support the shelter’s efforts.” In addition, Hilton encouraged her fans to donate to the Pasadena Humane Society.

“We’re still raising funds to help displaced families and pets Every donation makes a difference in providing emergency relief, housing, and supplies. You can contribute directly to Pasadena Humane Society or via this link: https://bit.ly/4gPIqKs,” wrote Hilton.
