Delightful Halloween Costumes For Your Disney-Loving Dog
Due to the current circumstances, this Halloween is going to be a little unusual, so it’s up to us to make it as enjoyable as possible. One of the best ways to elevate your mood this season is to make your dog wear a costume. Now, you’ll always want to get your pup’s input before dressing them up — just out of common courtesy. Thankfully, all dogs love Disney. I know this from personal experience — my dog has watched Lady and the Tramp and One Hundred and One Dalmatians more times than I care to count.
To help you and your pooch find some inspiration before Halloween, here are some of our favorite Disney-inspired dog costumes.
Olaf
I know this may be a controversial opinion but I think that Olaf is the best thing to come out of the Frozen franchise. This delightful snowman costume is bound to amplify your dog’s cuteness.
Hocus Pocus
I have to admit that the following is one of my favorite Halloween dog costumes ever and coincidentally my favorite Halloween movie EVER!!!
Winnie The Pooh Bear
In general, dogs have a lot in common with Winnie the Pooh. For example, they are highly food motivated and love wearing crop tops.
Jack Skellington
If you are anything like me and spent most of your adolescence at your local mall’s Hot Topic, Jack Skellington has a special place in your heart. Therefore, he’s the perfect character to dress your dog up as. If you do end up choosing this somewhat spooky costume, just be sure to address your pooch as Jack, the Pup-kin King.
Prince Charming
For those who are single and still want to have a couple’s costume (believe me, we’ve all been there), consider dressing up as Snow White and have your pooch be Prince Charming.
Ariel
This costume will have your singing “I want to be where the puppies are.”
Dug
If you have a golden retriever, Dug the Dog from Up is going to be the easiest option. Literally, all you need for them to wear is a brown collar. Of course, you’ll get bonus points if you have an adorable child to dress up as the movie’s protagonist Carl Fredricksen.
Eeyore
If your dog is on the more pessimistic side, he probably already identifies with Eeyore, making this costume an excellent choice.
Belle & The Beast
Those with two dogs may want to consider dressing your pups up as Belle and the Beast. A word of warning though — your furry friends will fight over who gets to be Belle. You see, all dogs want to be pretty princesses.
Mickey Mouse
No Disney list is truly complete without including the great mouse himself.
