Here's Our Favorite Moments of Carrie Fisher's Beloved Dog Gary

It was announced earlier this month that late actress Carrie Fisher’s beloved service dog, Gary, passed away, at the age of 12. Following Fisher’s death in 2016, the sweet French bulldog lived with her assistant, Corby McCoin.

To celebrate Gary’s incredible life, we thought we’d share some of our favorite moments of the precious pup and Fisher.

Gary Defended His Mother on Stage With Warwick Davis

While on a panel, Fisher and her “Return of the Jedi” co-star, Warwick Davis, reenacted a scene from the film. However, Gary wasn’t too happy when Davis approached Fisher with his Ewok character, Wicket W. Warrick’s spear. After Gary barked at Davis, Fisher assured him he was a friend.

Gary Distrusted BB-8

Davis was not the only “Star Wars” personality Gary had an issue with. During a premiere of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Gary showed his disapproval of the droid BB-8.

Gary Appeared in ‘Star Wars’

Like his mother, Gary appeared in “Star Wars.” According to ABC, Gary has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment in the 2017 film “'Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Even Gary’s biggest fans may have not recognized him as his image was edited to make him appear more alien.

Gary Dressed as Poe at a Premiere

Despite his apparent beef with BB-8, Gary dressed up droid’s BFF, Poe Dameron, at the premiere of “The Last Jedi.”

Gary Stole the Show on a Talk Show

Gary absolutely stole the show during a 2015 appearance on “The Graham Norton Show.” The pup cuddled up next to Fisher, who offered him a treat.

Rest in peace, Gary, you beautiful boy. Say hi to Carrie for us.
