In an October 19 Instagram post, Grande confirmed that her sweet pup had died at the age of 17. The post featured several pictures of the very good girl.

“sweetest, most amazing and most beautiful coco … i am so proud of you. thank you for your love, and for blessing this planet with your physical presence for over seventeen wonderful years. you make everywhere you go a more beautiful place. i will miss you every day and hold you in my heart always. i love you so, sweet girl,” wrote the singer in the post’s caption.

As fans are aware, Grande is a massive dog lover, with quite a few canine companions. Coco will be missed by her fellow furry family members, including two labradoodles named Ophelia and Sirius, a Shibu Inu called Fawkes, two American Pit Bull Terriers named Myron and Cinnamon, Lafayette, a Bloodhound, Strauss, a Yorkshire Terrier, a Chihuahua called Pignoli, and Toulouse, a Beagle-Chihuahua.

On top of being a devoted pup parent, Grande also co-founded the 501 (c) (3) non-profit animal rescue, Orange Twins Rescue. According to its mission statement, the organization helps “Senior animals, strays, neglected, abused, or special needs.”

“We do not discriminate and are proud of our fast-acting, effective, and loving work! We are proud of our commitment to stepping up, and stepping in in times of need. We value our strong connection to our community, and are constantly working to find new avenues of outreach and education,” read the mission.
