6 Things You Need to Do with Your Dog Before the Summer Ends
For those who adore the summer months, we’ve got some terrible news for you – it’s almost fall. Before the air gets a chill and the leaves begin to brown, you need to soak up as much summer as possible. And preferably with your dog by your side.
Here are some activities we think you and your dog should do during the last weeks of summer.
Head Out to a Local Body of Water

Most dogs love taking a dip in a body of water. If you have somewhere like a river, lake, or beach near your home, we recommend taking your pup and having a fun day of swimming. Just be sure that the place is dog-friendly before heading out! We also recommend getting your dog a life vest!
Bring Your Dog to an Outdoor Concert
Summer is prime time for outdoor concerts. Most of these events welcome pups. However, if your dog is a heckler (like mine), it’s best to leave them at home.
Take Your Furry Friend to a Restaurant’s Patio
Summer is the perfect time to eat outside at a restaurant. If you do bring your dog as your date, however, just know that your furry friend will expect you to share your meal. And no, they won’t be splitting the bill. Thanks.

The summer season is blessed with long days. Take advantage of the later sunsets and go for an evening walk with your furry friend.

Speaking of exercise, going on an early morning hike is a great way to get in your steps while still avoiding the heat.

My dog adores a farmers' market. Not only does she get plenty of much-deserved attention and pets, but she also sometimes gets free samples.
