Whisk & Wag Homemade Dog Treats In 30 Minutes

For Valentine’s Day I wanted to do something special for Pixie. Whisk and Wag is a family business and I’ve been dying to do a DIY treat mix for a while. I tend to not give Pixie treats so this was a very fun indulgence and a perfect sweet treat for Valentine’s Day. I picked the Whisk and Wag Honey Oat mix and went to making it work:

Steps to do this DIY Treat mix:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

  2. Use a bowl and add the mix with 1/4 of a cup of vegetable oil and 1/2 cup of water.

  3. You mix everything up ( I used a whisk on the next round I may try a fork instead of a whisk)

  4. Spread out the mix on a cutting board and use the cookie cutter to create the cookies

Put a non-greased cookie sheet and bake the treats for 20 minutes

After the treats are baked you should put them into a sealed container if you are storing at room temperature where they will be good for one week and you can increase the shelf life by freezing or refrigerating the treats.

Here is my attempt to make a home cooking show (the things I do for Pixie):

We wanted to spoil our pup with homemade dog treats and found Whisk and Wag where you take the mix and add vegetable oil and water. We used the heart shaped cookie cutter to create these treats and my dog really loved these treats.

Whisk & Wag have multiple flavors including:

All of the mixes are Corn Free + Wheat Free with a couple of the mixes also being Soy Free and Non GMO.

Peanut Butter & Berry
