The Stars Of 'The Mandalorian' Have Dogs Just As Cute As Grogu

I’ll be transparent, I was never that big of a “Star Wars” fan until I decided to tune into “The Mandalorian” in 2019. After watching the first episode, I became obsessed with Grogu, better known as Baby Yoda, and completely enamored with the Mandalorian himself, Pedro Pascal.

Unfortunately, my fixation with “The Mandalorian” has spiraled out of control. I am not joking when I say I am currently typing this in an office decorated with a ridiculous amount of “Star Wars” merchandise I’ve collected over the past three years. It has taken over my life.

Anyway, I am super excited for the premiere of “The Mandalorian” season 3, which begins airing on March 1. In celebration of the return of Din Djarin and his adopted 50-year-old son, here are some of the show’s cast members and their adorable dogs.

Katee Sackhoff

I’ll be honest, I have had a longstanding beef with Bo-Katan Kryze, played by Katee Sackhoff, ever since I watched “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”

Now, I’m sure that Sackhoff is a lovely person. After all, she is a devoted dog mom to two precious pups, Vargas the Chihuahua and Happy the Yorkie.

Ming-Na Wen

I am obsessed with skilled mercenary Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) and she can do no wrong in my eyes. That being said, I was truly disturbed by the cybernetics scene in “Boba Fett.”

After enduring that moment, I needed a palate cleanser so I went over to Ming-Na Wen’s Instagram account to look at pictures of her super sweet pooch named James.

Sasha Banks

Although she may be better known as a WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks appeared on "The Mandalorian" as the Nite Owls member, Koska Reeves. Banks and her husband, Sarath Ton, have a corgi called Ryu.

Pedro Pascal

The love of my life, Pedro Pascal, is a massive dog lover. He, at one point, had a precious pup with ears very similar to Yoda, named Edgar.

In a July 2018 interview with GQ, the “Wonder Woman 1984” actor revealed that Edgar had destroyed his Oliver Peoples glasses, stating,

“I have lost one pair so I resorted back to a previous pair that has been chewed up by my dog. I had no choice but to go to the movies and drive in chewed-up seeing glasses... It’s not a style choice.”

Emily Swallow

Emily Swallow, who plays the Armorer, has two furry friends who enjoy eating cookies made in their likeness.

Mark Hamill

Mark Hamill reprised his role as Luke Skywalker with the help of some CGI for the finale of season 2, causing "Star Wars" fans to collectively lose their minds. The actor is obsessed with dogs. According to People magazine, the 71-year-old adopted his newest pup, Molly Mae, from the non-profit rescue Toby's Small Animal Rescue in 2021. The “Child’s Play” star also has two other dogs, Mabel and Millie.

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee plays everyone’s favorite New Republic Starfighter Corps pilot, Captain Carson Teva. The actor owns a sweet rescue pup named Patrick
