Our dog Pixie has been in and out of the vet so many times for surgeries, it is incredible to consider how much she has endured to this point as a near 15-year old senior dog. To provide Pixie with a better post operation experience, Lauren and I decided to invest in a soft padded cone rather than keep buying those plastic cones from vet.
We bought a brand called The Comfy Cone, by the All Four Paws company. We’ve been using it on Pixie for several years now and can honestly say it was worth buying. It costs around $20 - $30 depending on which size you need and we bought ours on Amazon. You can also check the All Four Paws site link for a store locator to find their products. The Comfy Cone currently comes in two colors, black or tan, and can be worn either normal position or reserved.

It’s so easy to wipe down and clean, especially if it rains or Pixie gets dirt, saliva, food, or anything else on it.
Pixie enjoys sleeping with her Comfy Cone on if she needs to wear it at night. We could tell she wasn’t comfortable in the standard plastic cones from the vet.
Overall this is a very durable product with some great benefits for dogs, and it isn’t too expensive either. We also love what All Four Paws does for the dog community by donating their time, energy, and products to dogs in need.
