Rejoice Broadway fans – the wait is finally over! “Wicked” is officially in theaters!

In celebration of the highly-anticipated film’s release, we thought we would showcase the stars of “Wicked” and their super cute canine companions.

Without further ado, here is the cast of “Wicked” and their furry friends.

Cynthia Erivo

Here at Woof Republic, we adore Cynthia Erivo. Not only is she an incredible performer, but she is also a devoted dog mom. The actress has two dogs and is planning on adopting two German Shepherds, per a November 2024 interview with LADbible Entertainment,. In the same interview, alongside Ariana Grande, Erivo shared that she happily shares her bed with her furry friends.

“It’s lovely,” said Erivo.

Ariana Grande

Like her co-star and close friend, Erivo, Ariana Grande is absolutely obsessed with her furry friends. According to Modern Dog Magazine, Grande has 10 rescue dogs in total, including two Labradoodles named Ophelia and Sirius, a Shibu Inu called Fawkes, two American Pit Bull Terriers named Myron and Cinnamon, a Dachshund-German Shepherd called Coco, Lafayette, a Bloodhound, Strauss, a Yorkshire Terrier, a  Chihuahua called Pignoli, and Toulouse, a Beagle-Chihuahua. Myron belonged to Grande’s ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, who passed away in 2018. After his tragic death, Grande adopted the dog.

In the LADbible Entertainment interview, Grande shared that only Toulouse and Myron travel with her when she works outside of the LA area. She explained that her other dogs prefer to stay at home.

Jonathan Bailey

While speaking to The Standard in March 2021, Jonathan Bailey revealed that he and his family share a spunky cockapoo named Benson. According to Bailey, he “looked after” the dog at the start of the pandemic in 2020. Bailey said the situation became difficult after Benson “ ate a sock,” which “came up again three days later.”

Michelle Yeoh

According to Celebrity Pets, Michelle Yeoh is the proud pup parent to a Maltipoo.

Jeff Goldblum

In a 2018 interview with People magazine, Jeff Goldblum spoke highly of his poodle, Woody. Goldblum praised his dog’s athleticism and his protective nature.

“He’s a better athlete than any of us. You should see what he can do,” said Goldblum.
