Punk Rock Pups: Meet Green Day’s Adorable Dogs Ahead of the Super Bowl
As a big Green Day fans, you best believe my dog and I are thrilled about the band’s upcoming performance at this year’s Super Bowl. Not only do we like their tunes and their political beliefs, but we also appreciate that they are massive dog-lovers.
Without further ado, here are the members of Green Day and their adorable dogs.
Billie Joe Armstrong
Green Day frontman and singer Billie Joe Armstrong has two furry friends, Lenny and Mini. According to a fan, the pups visited their papa before he appeared on stage for a Green Day concert. We love that Billie Joe takes his furry friends to his super cool job. Hopefully, we’ll see the dogs at the Super Bowl!
Mike Dirnt
Bassist Mike Dirnt is a proud pup parent to a very good boy named Johnny. In a March 2023 Instagram upload, Dirnt shared that his canine companion looks like the dog on the Dookie album, which was released in 1994.
“And here’s my boy Johnny! it’s been said that he bears a striking resemblance to dogs on the dookie album cover!” read the caption of the post that featured a picture of the super cute pup.
