Neil Patrick Harris Introduces His Fans to His New Furry Friend
Actor Neil Patrick Harris has added a new furry friend to his family.
The father of two made the announcement that he is now the proud owner of an adorable pup in a September 4 Instagram upload. Harris, who wed his husband David Burtka, in 2014, shared several pictures and one video of the precious puppy with his Instagram followers.
“Introducing Bianca Burtka-Harris, the newest member of our family. She is brimming with love, and chewing up everything. We’re obsessed,” wrote Harris in the post’s caption.
He also expressed gratitude for his husband, David Burtka, “for bringing her into our lives! ❤”

“She's absolutely precious!” added another.
Daily Mail reported that Harris and his family lost their beloved dog, Eleanor 'Ella' Menopee, in July 2024. In an article for his newsletter, Wondercade, Harris revealed that Ella died after an accident involving a tree branch.
“A tree branch had somehow gotten caught in her collar, and in trying to get it free, she rolled around on the ground and it wrapped around her neck,” shared Harris.
He also shared that his late furry friend “was barely four years old” at the time of her death.
“She was absolutely brimming with life. We've had dogs die before, but they were old and blind and incontinent, so for them it was only a matter of time. Sad, yes, but inevitable,” wrote Harris.
