Megan Thee Stallion Just Adopted a Rescue Dog — And His Story Is Heartbreaking
Megan Thee Stallion has just expanded her family of furry friends!
The rapper revealed she just rescued a pup from a kill shelter in a March 26 Instagram upload. The post featured a video of Megan Thee Stallion bonding with her new canine companion named Tyger. In the video, the 31-year-old explained that she previously didn’t know kill shelters existed.
“I rescued a dog because I was today years old when I found out that there’s such a thing as a kill shelter and they are putting down dogs when they can’t find them a home. That is insane. They were going to put him down yesterday, and I said, no way! Just give him to me! I’ll take him,” said Megan Thee Stallion in the Instagram video.
She then shared she wasn’t sure how her other dogs, which include three French Bulldogs named 4oe, Dos, and Oenita, a pitbull called 5ive, a Cane Corso named Six, and X, who is an unidentified breed, “is going to feel about this.”
“But we had to save him. And his name is Tyger. He’s so happy,” continued the rapper in the video.
“Meet my new rescue son TYGER,” read the caption of the post.
Several fans flocked to the post’s comments section to share that they appreciated Megan Thee Stallion’s decision to adopt her new dog.
