Meet the 'Heated Rivalry' Cast and Their Very Adorable Canine Companions

Okay, I’ll admit that my dog and I are a little late on the Heated Rivalry train. However, after just finishing the series, we are forever changed. Now neither of us can listen to “I’ll Believe in Anything” by Wolf Parade without crying.

Anyway, my dog and I wanted to celebrate this delightful series by spotlighting the show’s fantastic cast and their furry friends.

Without further ado, here’s the cast of Heated Rivalry and their canine companions.

While we can’t confirm that Hudson Williams, who plays shy Canadian NHL star Shane Hollander, owns a dog, he’s at least a fan of canines. Williams took to his Instagram Story in December 2025 to share a super cute picture of him holding an adorable pittie, as if the pooch was the Stanley Cup.

I’m going to be honest with you – my dog and I preferred Scott (François Arnaud) and Kip’s (Robbie Graham-Kuntz) storyline over Shane and Ilya's (Connor Storrie). My furry friend’s reasoning is that she looks remarkably like François’s super cute dog.

Sophie Nélisse

Sophie Nélisse, who plays Shane’s ex-turned-bestie, Rose Landry, has a beautiful dog who seems to be a German Shepherd

Robbie Graham-Kuntz

Like his on-screen love interest, Robbie is a devoted dog dad. He’s shared sweet pictures of his gorgeous beagle on Instagram.

Dylan Walsh

Dylan Walsh, who plays Shane’s dad David, is a rescue animal advocate. In September 2025, Walsh spotlighted Pet Rescue Awareness Campaign’s Remember Me Thursday.

"In our current world I see too many shelter pets left alone and abandoned, all of them deserving of a loving family and forever homes," said the actor, who owns two dogs, Ash and Riley. "I am proud to have my name linked to Remember Me Thursday. Any organization whose mission is helping animals is something everyone should be behind. There are so many animals in horrific situations. To take in dogs, and cats, that have been through the worse and love them till they are adopted into loving, forever homes – this is support my family will always be behind. Thank you for the opportunity to represent and speak for this great cause."
