Meet the 2026 Oscar Nominees and Their Adorable Pets

The Oscars are right around the corner! In honor of this year’s Academy Awards, we thought we’d showcase the best actor and actress nominees, who happen to be major dog lovers.

Without further ado, here are the 2026 Oscar nominees and their adorable dogs.

Emma Stone

It’s unclear if Emma Stone currently has a canine companion. However, the actress, who is nominated for her role in Bugonia, was once a proud pup parent to an adorable Golden Retriever.

Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson, who is being recognized for her role as Claire Sardina in Sung Song Blue, “foster failed” her super cute Doberman in 2021.

Okay, so Rose Byrne’s precious pet isn’t exactly a dog. However, we think her family’s beloved bearded dragon is worth mentioning. While speaking to People shortly after she got her Oscar nomination for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, " Byrne shared that her kids, whom she shares with her partner,  Bobby Cannavale, adore their new not-so-furry friend.

“He’s so sweet. He’s so sweet. We’re all smitten. The kids are happy, such a sweetie,” said the actress.

Leonardo Dicaprio

Wagner Moura, who is nominated for The Secret Agent, revealed that he’s a “dog guy” and has an eight-year-old canine companion in a recent interview with NPR. He also shared that his family got a cat about a year ago, which took him some getting used to. He clarified that he now appreciates the cat, especially after he realized how therapeutic cuddling a purring kitty can be.

Timothée Chalamet

While Timothée Chalamet may not be a fan of ballet or opera, he does like furry friends.  If you know anything about Chalamet, you know that he’s been in a serious relationship with reality television personality Kylie Jenner. Now, Jenner is a big fan of dogs, owning several Italian Greyhounds and Dachshunds throughout the years. While Chalamet may consider Jenner’s many pups his step-dogs, it’s unclear if he actually owns any pups himself. The actor has never proclaimed himself to be a dog-dad. However, in December 2025, he shared two seriously adorable pictures that showed him cuddling a super sweet puppy.
