Is CBD Safe for Dogs? What Pet Owners Need to Know

Within the last few years, CBD oil has become all the rage. You might have even noticed that there are oils that are targeted to our canine companions. But is it actually beneficial or safe for dogs? 

The American Kennel Club reported that it’s unclear if CBD oils are safe to give to a pup because there’s simply a lack of scientific studies. However, if you believe that CBD oils may be beneficial for your furry friend, especially if they have anxiety, seizures, or have chronic pain, you can bring it up to your veterinarian to get their input. 

It is also important to note that THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is toxic and should never be consumed by a canine companion!
