Here's How Often You Should Be Bathing Your Dog

I know from personal experience that most dogs don’t love bath time. My furry friend hides under the dining room table the minute I pull out the designated dog towels. She also refuses to comply during bath time, so it becomes a wrestling match.

So I get it if you don’t give your dog as many baths as you probably should!

That being said, it’s in everyone's best interest to give your dog a good scrub every so often.

According to Ethos Veterinary Health, how often your dog needs to get in the bathtub depends on their hair type, breed, and skin. In general, you should aim to bathe your pup every 4 to 12 weeks.

Pups with longer and/or oilier fur will need to be scrubbed down more often — we’re talking about every couple of weeks. Also, you should give your dog an immediate bath if you notice they’re dirty and/or smelly.
