The Cast of 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' & Their Canine Companions

One thing you should know about my dog and me is that we are huge cinephiles. On any given evening, you can find us curled up on the couch, sharing a sizable bowl of popcorn, and enjoying a good film. Our favorite movie of 2022 was obviously “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” We laughed, we cried, and found a new appreciation for googly eyes. Our only complaint was that a dog was used as a weapon, but a deleted scene revealed that the adorable pomeranian ended up being A-okay, so all is right in the world.

In celebration of the movie’s well-deserved 11 Academy Award nominations, we thought we’d spotlight some of the film’s stars who happen to be massive dog lovers.

Without further ado, here is the cast of “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and their adorable dogs.

Michelle Yeoh

As a long-time fan of Michelle Yeoh, I am ecstatic that she has been nominated for Best Actress. I firmly believe that no one could have played Evelyn better than her. Yeoh also happens to be a proud pup parent to a super cute Maltipoo.

Jamie Lee Curtis

Beloved actress Jamie Lee Curtis also snagged a nomination for her role as Deirdre Beaubeirdre in “Everything Everywhere All At Once.” I know that the hot dog finger universe is polarizing and we all adore Waymond (Ke Huy Quan) but I loved the scenes where Deirdre and Evelyn were in love.

As fans of Curtis are aware, the actress has had a lifetime affinity for dogs. According to People magazine, she has adopted rescues for over 30 years and currently has an adorable poodle-terrier mix named Runi.

Curtis also often shares adoptable rescue dogs on her Instagram account, so it’s definitely worth a follow.

Jenny Slate

Jenny Slate played the relatively minor character, Debbie the Dog Mom. The role was fitting as Slate is a massive dog lover. The comedian has a rescue dog called Sally. Unfortunately, her beloved pup Reggie passed away in 2020.

Harry Shum Jr.

Some of the most delightful moments in “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” involved Chef Chad (Harry Shum Jr.) and his trusty sidekick Raccaccoonie. While the actor does not currently have a canine companion, he was a devoted dog dad to a very good boy named Charlie for over 10 years, who passed away in August 2022. In a 2011 People magazine interview, Shum Jr. shared that his “Glee” co-star, Lea Michele, had found the furry friend.

“He was all matted, homeless, no collar or anything. I just had to take him in. He is just the cutest dog,” said the actor.
