Eva Mendes Reveals Sweet New Addition to Her and Ryan Gosling’s Family: 'We’re in Love!'

Actors Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are expanding their family!

People magazine reported that Mendes revealed she and Gosling have another furry friend named Charlie in a July 31 Instagram upload. The post showed Mendes smiling brightly next to Charlie and her other dog, Magic.

In the caption of the post, Mendes, who has two human children, Esmeralda and Amada, let her followers know that Charlie got his start at the nonprofit California Doodle Rescues.   

“Introducing Charlie, our newest member of our familia. We’re in love ! Gracias to @californiadoodlerescues ♥️,” wrote Mendes in the post’s caption.

This is not the first time that Mendes and Gosling have brought home a furry friend with the help of California Doodle Rescues. In a November 2024 Instagram post, Mendes shared that Magic was originally from California Doodle Rescues.

Fans of Gosling are aware that long before the arrival of Magic and Charlie, he also had a beloved dog named George, who passed away in late 2016. Gosling shared kind words about his late furry friend, who looked at least a little part poodle/doodle, in an October 2017 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“He was a good friend to me,” said Gosling.
