You may be considering going on one last trip before summer officially comes to an end. As most pup parents don’t want to be away from their canine companion, you’ll likely want to visit a dog-friendly area. One spot that is super accommodating for Spot is Kansas City, Missouri.

You may find it unsurprising that an establishment called Bar K welcomes pups with open arms. This awesome bar has a sizable dog park where your pooch can play to her heart’s content. Popular items from the drink menu include the Straw Dog and the Spicy Pineapple Papillon. There’s also a menu curated just for canines! I know my pup will be ordering beef stew and a bottle of the finest FetchMe Noir.

Those over the age of 21 may enjoy spending time at the Hi-Dive Lounge. This popular spot is open daily from 11 am to 1:30 am. 

Weston Bend State Park

The Weston Bend State Park is a gorgeous area to hike and camp with your furry friend. The State Park is also known for its fishing, so don’t forget your pole!
