4 Super Fun Ways to Spend Labor Day With Your Furry Friend
Labor Day is just around the corner! For many Americans, this means that you’ll soon have an extended weekend. Woohoo! If you are like me and are not used to having time off, you may not know what to do with yourself. Well, if you have a canine companion, we obviously recommend that you spend the day with them! Here are some suggestions we think you should get up to with your furry friend this Labor Day.
Head Out to the Hiking Trail

If you have a local hiking spot, head out on the trail with your furry friend. Just be sure to keep your dog leashed at all times and pick up after them out of courtesy for other hikers.
Have a Beach Day If the Weather Is Good

Even though fall is almost here, some places in the U.S. are still experiencing summer weather. So if it happens to still be warm in your area, we think you should head over to your local dog beach. We recommend packing plenty of towels and treats, so your furry friend stays dry and full!
Go To A Dog-Friendly Restaurant

If your dog is anything like mine (she’s a total foodie), your furry friend will love to enjoy some fine dining. All you need to do is look up establishments that allow canines!
Embark on a Movie Marathon With Your Friend
On my days off, I like to curl up on the couch with my canine companion and watch a movie. While she usually demands we only watch films from the Air Bud franchise, she occasionally lets me pick out the movie.
Esquire recommends having a movie marathon in the spirit of the American labor movement. The publication suggests watching films like Modern Times, Office Space, and 9 to 5 (which my dog and I are definitely going to watch! We miss you, Dolly!)
