Julianne Hough Shares Heartbreaking Tribute to Her Late Dogs
“Dancing With the Stars” alum Julianne Hough shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late dogs, Lexi and Harley.
On September 28, 2024, Hough took to Instagram to mark the five-year anniversary of her dogs’ death. She shared various pictures of the beautiful spaniels throughout their lives. She also seemingly included images from their 2019 funeral.

Hough’s brother, Derek Hough, took to the comments section to share his support.
“I think of them often and my heart still aches from that traumatic day. These pictures of memories brings a huge smile to my face. Lexi ‘s squishy face” and Harley’s “crazy hair”

E! News reported that Hough opened up about the death of Lexi and Harley during an August 2024 interview on “The Jamie Kern Lima Show” podcast. She confided that the dogs “were killed by coyotes.”
“I had two dogs that were my kids. I had them for 11 years and for eight years. And they were everything to me,” said Hough.
She said that while she was devastated by their deaths, she is “so grateful they went together.”
According to the publication, Hough adopted another spaniel named Sunny in 2023. Hough often shares pictures of her adorable dog on Instagram. For instance, on September 22, Hough uploaded images that showed her and her furry friend enjoying brunch together.
