Eva Mendes & Ryan Gosling Just Adopted an Adorable Furry Friend

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have added a new furry friend to their family.

On November 26, Mendes took to her Instagram account to introduce her fans to her new dog, Magic. The video showed the actress carrying, walking, and posing with the beautiful pup.

In the caption of the post, Mendes shared that she and her family, which also includes her and Gosling’s children, Esmeralda and Amada, adopted the Doodle from the nonprofit dog rescue, California Doodle Rescue.

“Meet the newest member of our family …Magic!!! We adopted her from this amazing organization @californiadoodlerescues More to come…I’m crazy about her and excited to share life with Magic with you. ❤️,” read the caption.

Several fans took to the post’s comments section to congratulate Mendes on her new furry friend.

“Magic is Gorgeous! Thank you so much for changing her life. Adoption is the way!” wrote a commenter.

“Oooohh what a beautiful name !! 🤩💫 and what a beautiful girl 😍 She reminds me a little bit George... I miss him 💕 Welcome to Magic ! 🌟 (you're in a nice family 😉),” added another.

This is not the first time, Mendes and Gosling have chosen to adopt not shop. In July 2019, Mendes and Gosling adopted a 9-month-old Doberman from the Friends for Life Rescue Network. Mendes introduced the pup, called Lucho, in an Instagram post. In the picture, the actress cuddled her furry friend while sitting on a beach. In the caption, Mendes encouraged her fans to follow the couple’s lead and adopt.

"If you're looking for a fluffy family member, adoption is a great option. So many little dudes out there needing a home," wrote the mother-of-two.

As fans of Gosling are aware, he also had a beloved dog named George, who passed away in late 2016. Gosling shared kind words about his late furry friend in an October 2017 episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

“He was a good friend to me,” said Gosling.
