With the festive season in full swing, cranberries are on the menu. During the holidays, there’s a good likelihood that you’ll come across the tart fruit in either a delicious pastry or a fancy cocktail. 

Now, this may cause you to question whether it’s safe to give cranberries to your furry friend. 

According to the American Kennel Club, most dogs can safely consume the fruit as long as it is given in moderation. PetMD also reported that cranberries can be quite beneficial for our furry friends, as the fruit is high in fiber and contains many vitamins and minerals.  

However, you’ll have to talk to your pup’s vet before adding anything new to their diet like cranberries!
