Actor Chris Pine went on a blind date with two very good boys and eligible bachelors, Max and Jack. 

While filming a May 2024 video for The Dodo, Pine introduced his fans to his two foster dogs. He explained that he was unable to adopt Max and Jax as he already has two rescue dogs, Wednesday “Wenny” and Babs. 

The actor shared he began fostering Max in October 2023, after he “was found on the streets.” According to Pine, “he needed a lot of help” when he was first discovered. 

“He hadn’t eaten, he was super skinny, he was gray. And now look at him, he’s gained like 20 pounds. He’s obeying leash commands. And he’s just a lover. He’s an absolute lover,” shared Pine. 

Pine shared that Jack was also found in an upsetting state. The actor stated that he “was 40 pounds underweight,” was suffering from pneumonia, and “had a kidney infection.” Thankfully, the furry friend has made a full recovery. 

“Now, look at him. He’s a giant. He’s gained 40 pounds. Really, really hoping that someone out there can take him and give him the life that he deserves,” said Pine.
